About me
I have been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for about 20 years and have been managing ADHD, anxiety, OCD, insomnia, and depression for the last few years. In 1994, I obtained my BSN from Marquette University with a minor in psychology. I then worked as an RN for about 10 years until I graduated from NIU with a Master of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

I prefer that my patients undergo genetic testing, usually covered by most insurance plans (billed separately through genetic testing companies), before I prescribe or switch any medications. This ensures the medications are a good fit for the patient's genetic dynamics, which can significantly affect outcomes. If no insurance is available, there is a financial assistance program available through Genesight, as well as more affordable options. I am presently seeing patients on www.HelloKlarity.com. This virtual platform is currently cash pay only, but one can request a superbill to submit to their insurance.

I sincerely enjoy helping people on their path to a better life and, at the same time, empowering them with knowledge and the ability to change themselves.
